AusRegistry is responsible for conducting the Technical Accreditation process, which enables Registrars to become accredited and provide .au Domain Names.
Prior to the commencement of the Technical Accreditation, organisations wishing to become accredited are required to contact the .au Domain Administration. auDA is the policy authority and industry self-regulatory body for the .au Domain Name.
Organisations interested in becoming an auDA Accredited Registrar should visit auDA’s website, to familiarise themselves with the application process.
It is important to note that the Technical Accreditation process cannot commence until organisations have been provisionally accredited by auDA.
A thorough overview of AusRegistry's Technical Accreditation process is outlined in AusRegistry’s Technical Accreditation document, however interested organisations are welcome to email or call with any questions or comments they may have.
